Our Story
Bella my beautiful greyhound cross whippet, was found as a stray and covered in kennel sores when I adopted her. Unfortunately, her bald, raw tail needed to be partially amputated within days of taking her home. Whilst Bella was at the vets, the search for sighthound specific products began; a wide fishtail collar, a slim fit coat and fleece jumper, memory bedding, gentle grooming products, the list went on.
With a little TLC Bella’s sores healed in no time. By the following summer, her new sleek, soft coat had improved so much she snapped up 1st place in the 'best condition' class at our local fun dog show.
With my faithful friend by my side, the idea of Pointy Faces was born; a shop where essential sighthound specific products could be purchased in one place. Together, Bella and I tried and tested hundreds of products to carefully curate Pointy Faces range. This means our customers can purchase with the reassurance that they've been sourced, tried and tested with quality and practicality in mind. Pointy Faces aim is simple, to bring together a range of practical products for hounds that love their comfort from Italian greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and salukis to greyhounds.
Bella sadly passed away in 2019. With space on the sofa and love to give, Olive was in need of a forever home. Olive had never lived in a house before and was a rather nervous little lurcher. With some time and reassurance, she quickly became the most affectionate and playful pup. She’s taken to the role of chief treat taster and office dog with heart-warming enthusiasm and flair.
We are the exclusive UK stockists of DG Dog Gear and Hound-Tees. We also stock a range of other high quality brands as well as our own range of Pointy Faces collars and gifts.
Olive and I continue to source and bring our customers products that we enjoy, not only from a place of personal experience but also of love for hounds.

"I've been looking for a waterproof coat for my greyhound for some time and settled on this one. I measured my dog but still wasn't sure which size to buy so I emailed Meg and received a really prompt reply. It was mid-afternoon before I put my order in and I was delighted to see that it was sent out the same day! My hound has only worn it a couple of times so far but he seems very comfortable in it and it's definitely keeping him dry. Thank you Meg and Olive!"

"Game changer"
"My whippet Alf had been slightly tentative on his feet when walking on the cold winter pavement and frozen mud so I bought these to provide a little padding. Once he got over the embarrassment, he was trotting along like he used to as a young whipper snapper. I use these now if we are going to be walking on pavement for extended periods of time and they really help his little sensitive toes!"
